Wednesday: After opening for Bon Jovi and Nickelback in Twin Cities arenas, Daughtry is headlining in Target Center. That's a big jump from the Cabooze, where the group played last year. But Chris Daughtry has had more success than any "American Idol" finalist except Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. His two post-grunge albums have sold more than 5 million copies, and, with such hits as "It's Not Over" and "No Surprise," Daughtry has had a consistent presence on rock radio. Look for the group to add covers of Billy Idol and Phil Collins tunes in concert. With Lifehouse and Cavo. (7:30 p.m. Wed. $29.50-$39.50. Target Center, 600 1st Av. N., Mpls. 1-800-982-2787.)
