The State Patrol released the name of a St. Cloud man who was struck by a pickup truck and killed as he walked in the roadway at Hwy. 10 and Hwy. 23 Friday night in Benton County.
Mark A. Schafer, 55, died at the scene. The patrol said driver Sabrina Rasmussen, 27, of Montrose, and her passenger, Paul C. Mitchell, 28, also of Montrose, were not injured.
