The Phoenix Mercury will be very short-handed for its game with the Lynx at Target Center Wednesday.

Already without center Brittney Griner (knee) and Penny Taylor (knee), the Mercury will also be without star guard Diana Taurasi.

Taurasi, who received her seventh technical foul of the season in the Mercury's loss to the Lynx in Phoenix Sunday, has received a one-game suspension. Under WNBA rules, a player or coach is automatically suspended without pay for one game after getting their seventh technical. Taurasi, who leads the league in scoring, got the technical at 7:31 of the second quarter Sunday.

The Lynx, who have won nine straight vs. Phoenix, will be looking to improve to 14-3 entering the All Star break. The Lynx are currently on a league-best six-game winning streak and have won 15 straight at Target Center dating back to last season.
