The Gophers added another commitment Saturday night, when Logan Richter, a defensive tackle from Perham, Minn., announced he was picking Minnesota.
The 6-4, 280-pound Richter had no other reported offers. He is Minnesota's eighth commitment for the Class of 2018, and the third defensive lineman, joining Elijah Teague (Chicago Marist) and Abi Okonji (South Gwinnett, Ga.).
Richter announced his decision on Twitter:
