Jordy Nelson is a free agent.

The Green Bay Packers released the former second-team All-Pro wide receiver to clear salary-cap room Tuesday.

The net result is that Green Bay will replace Nelson by signing free-agent tight end Jimmy Graham. Graham's contract will reportedly be for three years, but the dollar amount is still unknown.

Graham had 65 catches for 923 yards and six touchdowns last season.

Nelson would have carried a $12.5 million cap hit for the upcoming season, as he still had one-year left on the four-year, $39 million deal he signed before the 2015 season.

The question now is: What's the market like for a 32 year-old, oft-injured receiver who has seen a dramatic reduction in catches, receiving yards and touchdowns this past season?

The easy answer is that it's probably not great. Which means the Nelson's price tag on the open market could come down. Even with his declining health and production, some team could offer him big money.

Realistically, the best Nelson could hope for is a two, maybe three-year contract. As the projected cap hit? It could come in somewhere around $5 million per year.

Just two years ago, Nelson led the NFL with 14 receiving touchdowns. But he tore his ACL in 2015 and has since lost the speed to beat defenders deep. His yards-per-catch average has plummeted from 15.5 to 13.0 to 9.1 over his past three healthy seasons.

Nelson ranks third in franchise history with 550 receptions, No. 5 in receiving yards with 7,848, No. 2 in TD receptions with 69 and No. 3 in 100-yard receiving games with 25.

Nelson had 53 catches for 482 yards and six touchdowns in an injury plagued season last year, a steep fall from 2016 when he had 97 catches for 1,257 yards and 14 scores.

Among the potential suitors for Nelson are the Raiders, Bengals and Patriots, who all need receiving help.

Perla was accused of raping a student during a wine-tasting outing in June 2015. Some of the files are so heavily redacted that on many pages no words are visible. Perla is one of 113 UC employees found to have violated the system's sexual misconduct policies in rece
