OVERRATED

The husband-wife-tag-team reporting on family issues by Frank Vascellaro and Amelia Santaniello on WCCO, Channel 4, is more about marketing than journalism. In fact, the promos for their reports are more fascinating than the reports themselves. This collaboration seems to be more about building a brand (to replace Don Shelby next year) than about serving viewers.

UNDERRATED

The British tradition of afternoon tea seems so civilized and metrosexual. It's not a bad way to chill (even if it is hot tea), and, guys, it scores big points with your Mum (took mine for tea for Mother's Day) or your lady (mine sold me on high tea during a trip to London). Tea time doesn't have to involve frumpy ladies with hats; you can go very modern at Minneapolis' Hotel Ivy (I ate a kumquat stuffed with some froufrou) or very casual at St. Paul's Cafe Latté (delish sweets, of course).
