Clybourne Park

Opening: This play by Bruce Norris burrows into the prejudices and assumptions of neighbors, and it questions the motives behind gentrification in urban housing stock. It is a play that picks up from Lorraine Hansberry's "A Raisin in the Sun," in terms of the choices made when selling and buying houses. The Guthrie had a fine production in 2013, and now Yellow Tree Theatre will mount a version directed by Craig Johnson and featuring Laura Esping, Patrick Coyle, Ashley Rose Montondo, Jason Peterson, Dan Hopman, Ricardo Beaird, Vincent Hannam and Joetta Wright. (7:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat., 2 p.m. Sun., 7:30 p.m. Wed.-Thu. Ends March 6. Yellow Tree, 320 5th Av. SE., Osseo. $15-$25. 763-493-8733, yellowtreetheatre.com)
