OPENING SOON: FIVE MORE FOR AL FRESCO

Stella's: Uptown's favorite rooftop isn't new, but it is getting an upgrade in the form of another 800-square-foot level, which will give bargoers a 360-degree view of the Twin Cities. Opening the third week of June. (1400 W. Lake St., Mpls. 612-824-8862. www.stellasfishcafe.com.)

Bootleggers: Vibing off its Prohibition Era theme, this party bar's second-level deck will be a hidden gem in the Warehouse District. The deck, snugly located off the rear of the building, should leave bargoers as excited about the dramatic urban brick vistas as the "bikini beer tubs." Opening mid-June. (323 1st Av. N., Mpls. 612-338-4555. www.bootleggersmpls.net.)

Ahern's Irish Pub: Downtown's latest supersized Irish bar will boast a large rooftop (most recently used by the neighboring Epic nightclub). Opening this summer. (126 N. 5th St., Mpls.)

Parma 8200: Richard D'Amico says Bloomington hasn't seen a patio like this before: about 3,000 square feet with two fireplaces and a pool table. Opening in late June. (5600 W. 83rd St., Suite 100, Bloomington. www.damico.com.)

Aperitif: Woodbury's hot new restaurant is building a large patio with lots of seating, plus a bar and fireplace. (772 Bielenberg Dr., Woodbury. 651-578-3000. www.aperitifrestaurant.com.)
