Beer tasting When new owners took over Stub & Herb's last September, they wanted to take the establishment up a notch with one key ingredient: great beer. The Stadium Village bar now has 32 taps of craft beer. In the spirit of college life, the bar even has a nice Web tutorial to educate novices about its wide range of beers. It also offers beer tastings the last Wednesday of every month. Each lasts about two hours. This Wednesday's features Belgian-style ales from the Ommegang brewery in Cooperstown, N.Y. (7 p.m. Wed., 227 SE. Oak St., Mpls. $5. 612-379-0555. www.stubandherbsbar.com)

Club stuff Here are your best bets for clubbing this week: Tonight, Aqua's resident DJ, Joe Maz, will celebrate the release of "Tone Def," a remix album he produced with his group Discotech. Everyone at Aqua tonight will receive a free copy. (10 p.m. today. 400 1st Av. N., Mpls. 612-232-3232. www.aquampls.com). If you're looking for a Memorial Day party, Envy is hosting an all-white party Sunday night where attendees must come dressed in -- you guessed it -- white. (10 p.m. Sun. 400 1st Av. N., Mpls. $15 before midnight. 612-673-9694. www.envympls.com) If you've been fiending for a superstar DJ performance, Italy's Benny Benassi is at Spin Wednesday, and he won't disappoint. (10 p.m. Wed. 10 S. 5th St. Mpls. 612-333-5055. www.spinmn.com)
