Office space firm moving into AT&T tower in downtown Minneapolis

Proximity to Target Corp. key

The AT&T Tower in downtown Minneapolis has a new tenant: Regus Corp.

No, not the hair people. United Kingdom-based Regus, which calls itself "the world's largest provider of flexible office space," has leased 13,000 square feet in the tower, according to CBRE.

Now, the glassy tower is 93 percent leased following its renovation in 2011. Renovations included a new fitness center, management office, concierge services, and conference center.

CBRE's Erin Wendorf said said Regus was attracted to the AT&T Tower due to its proximity to Target Corp. and south Nicollet Mall. "Looking to service the ever-expanding population of Target vendors and their growing need for alternative/flexible workspace, AT&T Tower was a perfect match," CBRE said in a news release.
