OFFENSIVE MVP

Taylor Martinez, Nebraska

He was rumored to have become a true dual-threat quarterback this season, and the Gophers saw plenty of evidence Saturday. He completed 21 of 29 passes for 308 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Martinez added 22 yards rushing for good measure.

DEFENSIVE MVP

Aaron Hill, Gophers

It might seem strange to give this award to a Gophers player, but the junior linebacker had the best individual game of anyone. He led all players on either team with 11 tackles, had two tackles for a loss, one sack and was credited with two forced fumbles.

BY THE NUMBERS

632-128 Margin by which Nebraska has outscored the Gophers in the past 16 games between the teams, all Cornhuskers victories.

177 Total yards of offense for the Gophers, a season low.

2 Fourth-quarter TD runs by Gophers senior MarQueis Gray.
