Kemerer Marion, age 93. Full of fun, optimistic, interested in all things, Marion lived a complete and full life. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 29. Appointed as one of their youngest music instructors, Marion served on the faculty of MacPhail School of Music from 1928 to 1944. Throughout her life, she was prominent in the Minneapolis area in music and a member of many music associations including the Thursday Musical and Mu Phi Epsilon. She performed into her mid-80's, most recently at the 7500 York Cooperative in Edina, where she played a two-part piano Christmas pageant with her friend and fellow resident Dorothy Scheibe. Together with her husband, Robert W. Kemerer, Marion was a member of Hennepin Avenue Methodist Church and the Haseltine National Golf Club in Chaska. Marion was also a member of the Woman's Club of Minneapolis for over 60 years. Marion is survived by her sons, Frank of Denton, Texas, and Rick of Toronto, Canada, their wives, Barbie and Aileen and four grandchildren; Adam, Anne, Lisa and Jenny. Private internment at Lakewood Cemetery. Memorial service to be held Sat., Feb. 9 at 2 PM at MN Masonic Home Chapel. WERNESS BROTHERS 612-927-8641
