Frederic L. Thwing

Thwing Frederic L., age 90, of Friendship Village, Bloomington. Survived by wife, Eleanor; son, Frederic Jr. (Mindy) of Decatur, AL, Lois (Anthony) Pesola of Eden Prairie, MN; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Graduated from Carleton College and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Veteran of U.S. Army. Served during WWII with the rank of Captain. Personnel Manager for Red Owl Stores and Regional Personnel Manager for the U.S. Post Office. Retired as Dean of Business from North Hennepin Community College. Active volunteer in retirement for the American Red Cross, Meals On Wheels, and as a volunteer placement coordinator through Westwood Lutheran Church. Memorial service 3 PM TODAY, Dec. 29 at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Rd., St. Louis Park 55426. Memorials preferred to the church. Cremation Society of MN Edina 952-924-4100
