Irene Harriet Stenstrom

Stenstrom Irene Harriet, 90, of Deltona, FL died Tuesday, December 24, 2002 in Deland, FL. Born Oct. 7, 1912 in Escanaba, MI, she moved to Central Florida in 1928 from Minneapolis. Ms. Stenstrom was employed as a bookkeeper in the printing industry for 35 years. She enjoyed working with her hands by making pine needle baskets. She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Orange City, FL. Ms. Stenstrom is survived by her sister, Ida Engstrom of Deltona, FL; nephews, John Engstrom of Seattle, WA, and Bob Engstrom of Deltona, FL, niece, Nancy Engstrom-Hinkley of Tacoma, WA; and many great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to Emmaus Lutheran Church, 2500 S. Volusia Ave., Orange City, FL 32763.
