Hall Barnard, age 85, of Roseville on December 23, 2001. Loving, wonderful husband; patient, gentle father and grandfather; kind, supportive, brother, uncle, cousin, in-law; trusted, loyal friend; admired, respected physician. A life well lived that touched so many. Preceded in death by the woman he adored, Blanche Chaney Hall in 1985; and by his father, William Hall in 1950; his mother, Margaret Barnard in 1975; and his brother, William Hall in 1977. Barnard is survived by children & their spouses: Susan, Margaret, Sandra, John, Lee and Edmund; and by grandchildren, Sarah, Brenna, Elizabeth, Adam, Margaret, Erin, Peter and Jennifer. He is also survived by a multitude of treasured relatives and friends. Barnard born January 4, 1916 in Roswell, NM moved to Prineville, OR in 1922 where he attended school. He graduated from the Univ of Oregon in 1938 and the Univ or Oregon Medical School in 1942. He interned at the Univ of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, marrying Blanche Chaney in April 1943 and together they moved to Amarillo, TX and Biloxi, MS as Barnard served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp during WWII. In 1946 he and Blanche settled in Minnesota where he studied radiology at the Univ of Minnesota. In 1949 Barnard joined Saint Paul Radiology practicing at St John's Hospital in St Paul until 1981. He served as the president of Minnesota State Medical Association from 1974 to 1975.
