Jayne Clark Jones

Jones Jayne Clark, age 69, of Mpls. Died on Dec. 18, 2001. She is survived by children, Kristin, Jonathan, Charles, Charity & Felicity; siblings, Marianne Kiley, John, Joanne & James Clark; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; many nephews and nieces. Jayne Mary Clark was born on June 10, 1932 near Bemidji, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota & earned a B.A. and a Master's degree. She was married to Prof. Tom B. Jones and moved to S. Minneapolis in 1961. Jayne was a substitute teacher in the Mpls Public Schools for nearly 20 years. She was an accomplished writer and published 3 books. A memorial service and reception will be held at the HISTORIC THOMSON-DOUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 2535 Park Avenue, Friday, Jan 18, 2002 3 PM. Gathering begins 1 hour prior to the service.
