Lawrence Erickson

Erickson Lawrence ``Bud'', age 78, formerly of Mpls. (Spooner), passed away December 13 at his daughter's home in Vista, CA. Preceded in death by wife, Betty; and son, Larry. Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Thomas Zenner; sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Erickson of Pacheco, CA; and long-time caring friend, Vernie Reninga of Quincy, IL and her family. Bud's naval career spanned 20 years active duty service from 1943 to 1963. He then worked for 20 years at the Hennepin County Adult Corrections Facility, ending his career in Feb. 1985 as Manager of the Men's Section. He was elected Supervisor of the Hennepin Conservation District in 1978, where he served as Chair from 1986 to 1991. Our deepest thanks to Tri-City Hospice for their concern and support during Dad's final hours. Memorial service and inurnment Saturday, January 4 at 12:00 PM at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel.
