Loraine (Johnson) Schoenack

Loraine (Johnson) Schoenack passed away peacefully at her home on December 18 with her son and daughter at her side. Loraine was born 11-17-21 in Brandon, MN, to Henry and Lora Johnson, and she died at her home of 48 years in Bloomington, MN, at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 1 day. Her husband, Paul Schoenack, Sr., her parents, and an infant brother predeceased her. Loraine is survived by her son, Paul and wife Eileen Mehl; daughter, Pat and husband Paul Sievertson; grandson, Aaron Schoenack and wife Kathy, and their two children, Zack Rynders and Rachel Young. She is also survived by two dear sisters-in-law; many special cousins, nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends and neighbors. In past years she was very active in her church and charitable organizations. More recently she enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds (and squirrels), and visiting with family and friends. She always thought of others before herself. Memorials preferred to Allina TLC Fund. Interment Bloomington Cemetery. Funeral service Sunday (TODAY) 1:30 PM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Ave S., Bloomington. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
