John L. Robinson (Jack), age 90, of Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills. Preceded in death by his wife, Orphie. Survived by son, John H. Robinson; daughters, Barbara Pearse & husband Bill of Golden, CO, Beverly J. Acomb of Maitland, FL; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; brother, William H. Robinson of Columbia Heights. Veteran WWII, Navy. Past President of Mpls Jr. Chamber of Commerce; Vice President of U.S. National Jr. Chamber of Commerce; Developed school patrol program & picnic; developed Waite Park School & Park; owner & president of Robinson & Seidel which was a sales incentive & travel company; active with Mpls Aquatennial; active at Minn. State Fair; owned & operated the Jack Robinson Cafeteria - Smorgasborg, Pancake House, Waffle Shop & Pizza Palace. Received 50-year plaque in 1984. After retirement, started Crazy Horse Campgrounds in Milaca, MN, which held national camping conventions. active in his church, member of Zuhrah Temple, Mpls. Service Saturday, 10:30 am at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, St. Anthony Pkwy & Ulysses St. NE. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the church.
