Sandgren IN LOVING MEMORY Gladys Viola, 89, of Minneapolis and Anoka, died December 16, 2001 at the Augustana Home in Mpls. Preceded in death by husband, Elof and daughter, Barbara Smith. Survived by her son, Richard & his wife Nancy; grandchildren, Stephen Smith, David Smith, Donald Smith, Janet Hegland, Karen Nopola, Richard Sandgren Jr., James Sandgren, Scott Sandgren and Susan Knox; and seven great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered for her sweet and kind heart, quick humor and smile and her gracious appreciation for all that life had to offer. The family thanks Dr. Roberta Meyers for her exceptional and compassionate care of Gladys and the staff of the Augustana Home, especially the 3E staff, for their loving care of ``Grandma.''
