Donald John Kahler

Kahler Donald John, age 80, resident of Crosslake, passed away peacefully at home Friday, December 14, 2001. WWII Naval Air Corp Veteran and retired Ewald Bros. Dairy where he served as union steward. Preceded in death by wife, Jeanette Kahler, mother and father, John & Esther; sister, Joyce Sloan, daughter, Linda Jandro. Survivors include: daughters, Judy Connell of Eden Prairie, Susan Hess of Plymouth, Beth & husband Joe Hawley of Parker, Colorado; sons, David & wife Denise Kahler of Apple Valley, and Ronald Kahler of Flint, Michigan; brother, Raymond Kahler of Aurora, Colorado, 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Reverend Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM Tuesday until the time of Services. Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
