Dorothy M. (Aase) Langevin
Langevin Dorothy M. (nee Aase), age 76 of Bloomington. Dorothy, a non-smoker, fought a valiant 6 month battle with lung cancer and died peacefully at home Saturday, 12/14, surrounded by loving family & friends. Preceded in death by husband, Luke; father, Albert Aase; mother, Flora ``Toots'' Besse; and step-father, Bernard ``Boots'' Besse. Survived by her children, Bruce (Kim), David, Dianne Langevin, Barbara Davis, Steven, and Pamela Langevin; grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Langevin, Nathan and Cortney Davis; sister, Ruby (Douglas) Jacobson; her many loving nieces; and not to forget, ``Kelly,'' her calico cat. A dedicated VFW Auxiliary Member serving both as chaplin and major picture taker with Warren Butler Post # 6212 and Prior Lake Post #6208 and a 13-year caring volunteer with the VA ``Pink Ladies.'' Dorothy's family wishes to express their special thanks to H.P. Hospice of the Lakes. Funeral service 10 am WEDNESDAY at DAWN VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 9940 E. Bush Lk Rd, Bloomington. Visitation 5-8 pm TUESDAY plus 1 hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
