Cynthia Daly
Daly (Turrentine) Cynthia Daly (Turrentine) was born October 2, 1950. She died at her home on December 12, 2001 in St. Paul at the age of 51 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar M. Turrentine. Surviving are her sons, Nicholas and Timothy Daly of St. Paul; her husband, Ismail Tashtoush of Amman, Jordan; her mother, Bonnie N. Turrentine; sister, Jennifer Turrentine; brother, Timothy (Kerry) and nephews, Samuel and Maxwell Turrentine. Cynthia graduated from Washburn High School, the University of Minnesota, and William Mitchell School of Law. After completing her law studies, she worked several years in the Ramsey County Attorney Office and the Ramsey County Public Defender Office. For the past thirteen years, she worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Hennepin County. Her family wishes to express gratitude to her many friends and colleagues who were so supportive of Cynthia through her lengthy illnesses. Also, thanks go to the Health Partners Oncology Department, and especially Hospice of the Lakes for the wonderful care they provided Cynthia. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday, December 15, Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. & Vernon Ave at Hwy 100, Edina. Private interment.
