Robert A. Brandl

Brandl Robert A., age 77, formerly of Lakeville, MN, died Mon., Dec. 9, 2002 at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs, FL. Born to John Brandl & Christine (Keller) Brandl on Sep. 27, 1925 in St. Paul and moved to Lakeville at age 6. Graduated from Lakeville High School in 1943 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in Dec., 1943. Married Millie Stoffel of Hastings, MN on Mar. 24, 1945 in Spokane, WA. Honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy on Feb. 25, 1946. In June, 1948 he graduated from the Univ. of Minnesota with a degree in Mortuary Science. Retired from Wellcome Animal Health in 1986 after 30 years of service and moved to Tarpon Springs, FL. A member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Parish in Tarpon Springs and very active in their Caritas Club. He was a member of the University of Minnesota Alumni, Florida Suncoast Chapter. He was a 54 year member of the American Legion and belonged to Post #44 in Lakeville. Survived by wife, Millie (Stoffel) Brandl of Tarpon Springs, FL; daughter, Barbara (Louis) Micheln of Kenosha, WI; son, John (Rose Twohig) Brandl of Campbellsport, WI; grandchildren, Jennifer Brandl of Milwaukee, Benjamin Brandl, Christina Brandl, William Brandl & Joshua Brandl of Campbellsport, WI. Visitation at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Trail, Lakeville, MN from 4 to 8 PM Friday, 12/20/02.
