Rev. Stanton R. Hecksel

Hecksel Rev. Stanton R., age 69, of Apple Valley. Dearly loved father of Miriam Lejonvarn & husband Scott of St. Paul and Bruce Hecksel & wife Julie of Medinah, IL. Also survived by Delrose & Charles LaCroix of Alexandria, Oriel & Roger Wolff of Readlyn, IA; nieces, nephews and granddaughter, Britt Lejonvarn. Rev. Hecksel was born April 21, 1933 in Winsted. He attended Concordia, St. Paul and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. Rev. Hecksel faithfully served various congregations of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church from 1958-1995 and was Pastor Emeritus serving at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Rosemount at the time of his death. He loved music, the art of automobile design, and more than anything, his wife and children. A service will be held 11 am Wednesday at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 14980 Diamond Path W. in Rosemount. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call 6-8 pm Tuesday at Henry W. Anderson Apple Valley Mortuary, 147th & Garrett and 1/2 hour before service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or donor's choice. Henry W. Anderson 952-432-2331
