Arlyn Duane Sabatke

Sabatke Arlyn Duane Sabatke, age 63, of Brooklyn Park, MN and formerly of Menomonie, WI, died of pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at his home with his family at his side. He was born Nov. 25, 1939 in the Town of Stanton, Dunn Co., WI to Alfred and Borghild (Tilleson) Sabatke. He graduated from Boyceville High School in 1957. Arlyn worked with the crew that built the overpass and interstate highway through Dunn County. He was a toolmaker for the past twenty years, and was part owner of Daytime Molding. Arlyn was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was a member of St. Anthony Gun Club. He also enjoyed playing cribbage with his good friend, George and playing blackjack. Arlyn is survived by a daughter, Dustine Sabatke of Minneapolis, MN; his life mate, Donna Behrens of Brooklyn Park, MN; ``his girls'' Jackie Anderson of St. Francis, MN, Jennifer (Ronny) Young of Dalton, MN, Jessica (Justin) Haller of St. Francis, MN. Funeral service 1:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002 at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Rev. Dave Whelan officiating. Relatives & friends are welcome at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday and at church one hour prior to service Sat.
