Audrey (Sovia) Gustafson

Gustafson Audrey (Sovia), age 90, on Wednesday, November 27, 2002, St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George F. Gustafson and daughter, Kristin (Lyle) Hanzal. Survived by children, Ardyce (Robert) Rigg, of Mars, PA; Gay Ann Gustafson, of Houston, TX; Bruce Gustafson (Deborah) of Cypress, CA; Glen Gustafson (Becky) of Phoeniz, AZ; Ann (James) Page of Emily, MN; Ruth (Dale) Bachman of Eden Prairie, MN; 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Morrow; brother, Cedric Sovia, and many nieces and nephews. Proud of her beautiful needlework, she won blue ribbons at the MN State Fair, and produced thousands of pieces as a legacy to her family and friends. The Gustafsons served as host family to foreign students for more than twenty years. Memorial Service to be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 11:00 am with family visitation at 10:00 am, at GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH, 700 So. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, 55116, where the Gustafsons were members for more than 50 years. Memorials preferred to Gloria Dei or to the St. Paul Midway YMCA for The Gustafson Endowment Fund.
