William Donald (Skip). Pursel. Preceded in death by partner, Jeffrey C. Dahl, originally of East Grand Forks, ND; parents Donald & Eva Pursel of Flushing, NY. Survived by son, Brendan Pursel of Lincoln, RI; sister, Penny (Charles) Olson of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; brother, Donald (Karen) Pursel of Ft. Salonga, Long Island, NY; former wife, Nancy Wright of Lincoln, RI. Skip was an Infantry Lieutenant in the Marine Corp, serving during the Viet-Nam war. He was an avid biker who completed the MN & Chicago & Alaska Aids Ride. He was an active friend of Bill W. for over 20 years. An active member of the Walk & Snack Group. Services will be Saturday December 7, 2002, at 12 noon, Cremation Society of MN Chapel, 4343 Nicollet Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society.
