Ira S. Corneillier

Ira S. Corneillier, age 81, of NE Minneapolis, passed away November 20, 2001. Ira was a WWII Veteran and POW in the 707 Tank Battalion and received the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster and Bronze Star. Member of American Legion Post 540. He was preceded in death by wife, Grace of 51 years; sons, Robert and Ward; parents, Ira and Rose; brother, Warren. He will be deeply missed by children, Patricia (Jerome) Evenson, Steven (Kathleen), and Michael (Barbara); grandchildren, Brad (Lisa) Evenson, Chris (Amy) Evenson, Nicole (Jason) Rosener, Brittony and Michelle; family and friends. Funeral service Tuesday, 11 am at Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, 29th & Johnson, NE Mpls. Visitaion TODAY 5-8 pm, prayers 7 pm and one hour prior to service.
