Timlin John Robert, 78, a long time resident of Mpls/St. Paul, died Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at Augustana Home in Minneapolis, MN. Robert was born September 17, 1924 in Scranton, North Dakota to Francis Joseph and Emily Harriet (Soutar) Timlin. He attended high school in Scranton, North Dakota, and furthered his education by attending massage therapy training in Cleveland, OH. He was united in marriage to Zetty Clare Schuster on July 7, 1953 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Lewistown, MT. She preceded him in death in 1959. Robert worked as a massage therapist, establishing a massage therapy business in Lewistown, MT; subsequently moving to Minneapolis/St. Paul and worked at YMCA's, the Minneapolis Athletic Club, the Minnesota Club, and the St. Paul Athletic Club. He enjoyed playing the piano, singing and dancing. Survivors include a daughter, Marie Timlin of Shoreview, MN; and a brother, Francis E. Timlin of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zetty Clare; an infant daughter; his parents; two sisters, Jean Schaal and Ramona Dove of Belleville, MI; and a brother, Paul of Lansing, MI. A Graveside Service for Robert Timlin will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lewistown on Monday, November 25, at 2:00 pm. Memorials are suggested to the Augustana Home of Minneapolis, 1007 E. 14th St, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Creel Funeral Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
