Esther Martin

Martin Esther ``Virginia'', age 76, of Crystal, passed away peacefully Nov. 19, 2002. Virginia was born Feb. 25, 1926 to Esther and Martin Nelson in Mpls. She married Howard Martin and had just celebrated 57 years of marriage. She was a retired secretary of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She will be remembered most as wife, mom, grandma and sister. She was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan; parents; siblings, Lawrence, Eva and Edwin. She is survived by her husband, Howard; sons, David, Timothy, Michael (Hazel) and Andrew (Melissa); daughters, Pat (John) and Candace; grandchlildren, David, Tiffany, Christopher, Laurie, Dan, Greg, Jeff, Ali, Brandon and Kyle; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Nelson, Annette Dahl and best friend & sister, Margaret Robinson. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday at Washburn-McReavy Robbinsdale Chapel, 4239 West Broadway, Robbinsdale, and one hour prior to service at church on Friday. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, Nov. 22, 2002 at River of Life Church (Bethlehem Lutheran), 22nd & Fremont Ave N., Mpls. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
