Carlson Eva M., age 88, of Minneapolis, formerly of Marshall, MN, passed away Nov. 16, 2002. Active in community and church life in Marshall, and later at Walker Place, her home for the last 15 years. Member of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church and tireless volunteer at the Steeple People Surplus Store. Preceded in death by parents; four siblings; husband, Roy F. Carlson; son, John R. Carlson; son-in-law, Earl Wilson; and daughter-in-law, Kay Runholt Carlson. Survived by daughters, Judy Nelson and Betty Wilson; sons, Lee and Wayne Carlson; daughters-in-law, Lynne, Ruth and Ann Carlson; grandchildren, Daniel, Jeffrey, Neil, Douglas and Felicia Carlson, Andrew and Jack Nelson; great-grandsons, Will and John Nelson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial Service at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, Lyndale at Groveland in Minneapolis on November 23 at 11:00 AM, preceded by visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment to be preceded by a short memorial service at Wesley United Methodist Church in Marshall, MN at a date to be determined later. Memorials preferred to Joyce Food Shelf in Minneapolis or Prairie Home Hospice in Marshall.
