Clara A. Aune Eickholt

Eickholt Clara A. Aune Eickholt, 85, passed away on November 14, 2002 in Grover Beach, CA with her daughters, Carol and Deborah at her side. She is survived by her three daughters, Janet Krenz of Hudson, WI, Carol Richardson of Grover Beach, CA and Deborah Ashman of Eagle River, AK; her sister, Helen Sanfacon of Inver Grove Heights, MN; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford J. Eickholt, who passed away on January 16, 2002. Clara was born on July 29, 1917 in Braddock, ND to Peder and Marianne Aune. She grew up in Minneapolis, MN. The first generation in her family to be born and raised outside of Norway. She was very proud of her Norwegian heritage. She married Clifford Eickholt on December 26, 1940 in Iowa and spent 61 wonderful years with him. A service will be held at Crystal Lake Funeral Home, 3816 Penn Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN on November 23, 2002 at 11 AM. Viewing will be from 10 AM-11 AM.
