Donna Marie Haiden

Haiden Donna Marie Haiden, age 86, (5/2/1916 to 10/25/2002). Born as Madonna Pearl Murray near Swift Current, Sask. to Pearl Conant & Edward Murray. After her mother's death she was adopted by an aunt and uncle, Bertha Conant & Clarence Bahr. She graduated from Washburn High School at the age of 14 and attended college in Florida where she met and married Walter Haiden. In gratitude for her recovery from a crippling illness she vowed to join a healing profession, became an RN and worked at Fairview Hospital. She was proud of her Mayflower ancestry and was a gifted gardener and poet. She will be remembered for her quick wit and joy of learning. She is survived by her dear friend, Alice Hurlbutt; her daughter, Virginia and son, Ted of Mpls.; her son, Jerry of Orlando; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Graveside services Monday, Nov. 18, 1 PM at Sunset Memorial Cem.
