Lois M. Hoffman

Hoffman Lois M., age 96 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Hiller. Survived by daughters, Doris Turner, Phyllis Christensen (Walter), Sandra Montgomery (James), Gloria O'Hern (Donald); sister-in-law, Charlotte Van Valkenburgh; nieces, Joan Goldstein (Jack), Judy Rouse (William); 14 loving grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Lois lived a rewarding life: a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a master's from the University of Chicago, a long-time member of the Quota Club of St. Paul, a teacher and principal, a social worker with Family Services in St. Paul and Ramsey County, dedicated to volunteering and charitable causes, an active bridge player, avid sports fan, hunter and fisherwoman, and loving friend. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on November 14, 2002 at 6:30 pm at Como Park Conservatory, 1250 Kaufman Dr., St. Paul. Memorials to Como Park Conservatory.
