Ewald Earl, 94, of Boulder, CO, died Nov. 3, 2002. Born July 2, 1908, St. Paul, MN. Electrical Engineering graduate U of Minn. 1930. Married Marian Borglum June 1930, who predeceased him in 1990. His career with Northern States Power Co. began in 1930 where he worked 42 years retiring as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Following retirement, he spent time in his homes in Taxco, Mexico and Allenspark, CO. In 1978, he moved to Boulder, CO, where he married Arline Grigg Weidner in August 1990. In addition to his wife, Arline, Earl is survived by daughters, Carol Johnson (Clark), Santa Fe, NM, Paula Wagner, Golden, CO; son, Clark (Martha), Littleton, CO; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 step-children, Judith Grigg Falco, Stanley Grigg (Bonnie), Mady Grigg Feist, and 6 step-grandchildren. Earl's long and fulfilling life included his many interests in travel, golf, piano, computers, photography, and his love of the Mountains.
