Amanda K. Peterson

Peterson Amanda ``Madaline'' K., 98, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002 in ManorCare Health Services, Fargo, ND. Amanda Katherine Scherer was born Nov. 4, 1903 to John and Katherine (Winson) Scherer in Shakopee, MN. She attended country school in that area. On August 16, 1930, Amanda married Theodore J. Peterson in St. Paul, MN, where they made their home until they moved to Alexandria, MN. Theodore died in 1978. Amanda entered ManorCare in 1998. Amanda is survived by one son, Theodore (Geri), Medina, OH; grandchildren, Jackie (Wayne) Winje, Moorhead, Jay (Michele) Peterson, Springdale, AR, Todd (Beth) Peterson, Brunswick, OH, Teri Peterson, Bedford, OH; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy; and five brothers. Funeral service Thurs., Nov. 7, 2002, 1 PM, The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead.
