Shopek Elijah Austin, 7 months, of Brooklyn Park. Beloved son of Shawn & Jessica. Also survived by brother, Alec; grandparents, Steve Shopek, Jack & Linda, Carl & Jeanne Sigurdson, Roger Olson; aunts & uncles, Nick Shopek (his godfather), Brandi & Derek Schack, Chad Sigurdson, Jeffrey Sigurdson, Cassandra Sigurdson, Laura Olson; great-grandparents, Catherine & Ferd Pomerleau, Alma Schmidt, Marge & Joe Shopek, Marlene Surles, Phyllis & Ray Sigurdson; godmother, Nancy Hreha; many cousins, other relatives and friends. Mass 11 am Thursday at St. Alphonsis Catholic Church, 70th & Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Anoka.
