Sharkey Marietta, age 84, of New Prague, died 10-30-02. Survived by children, Mike, Susanne (Mike) Scherer, Sharon (Phil) Ericson & Jane Sharkey; daughters-in-law, Rosie Sharkey & Margaret Sharkey; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother & 2 sisters. Preceded in death by husband, Edwin; and sons, Pat & Dennis. Wake 4-8 PM Friday 11-8-02 at Bruzek Funeral Home, New Prague (952-758-4949), and at church 1 hour prior to Mass. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Sat. 11-9-02 at St. Thomas Church, St. Thomas, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to ``Ed & Marietta Sharkey Scholarship Fund'' at New Prague High School, or North Memorial Hospice.
