June M. Greiner of St Anthony, formerly of Minnetonka, she was born in St Paul February 25, 1928 and died at Pillar Hospice in Oakdale on October 29, 2002 at age 74. June was a graduate of Murray High School, Stephens College and University of Missouri. A former radio and television personality, having served as an announcer with ``Music with the Hormel Girls''. She was a pioneer in television in the 1950s having started ``Romper Room'' in the Midwest as Miss June and retiring in 1961. She was preceded in death by husband, Peter F. Greiner. Survived by her husband, Frank H. Perry; sons, Jeffrey P. Greiner & wife, Theresa of Greenwood, MN, Bradley K. Greiner & wife, Julie of Denver, CO; 5 loving grandchildren, Chadwick, Blake, Megan, Andrew and Joshua; sister, Elaine Moe Durham & husband, Frank of Greencastle, IN; also survived by husband Frank's daughters, Cynthia Iacarella & husband, Richard and Beverly Marrin; Frank's grandchildren, Heath & wife, Natalie and Dawn Iacarella. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am, Saturday at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2420 St Anthony Blvd., Mpls. Visitation 4-7 pm TODAY, at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata and one hour prior to service at church. Interment Dawn Valley Cemetery in Bloomington, followed by a luncheon reception at Lafayette Country Club at 1 pm. Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or donor's choice.
