Floodman (Kish) Verna H., age 83, of Anoka. Verna was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital and Zion Lutheran Church. She was also a Lioness. She retired as a cook manager for School District #11. Her interests were reading, swimming at the YMCA, and sewing. She was preceded in death by husbands, Emil C. Kish and Lawrence Floodman; granddaughter, Angela Kish. Survived by children, Ronald (Joanne) Kish of Champlin, Verna (Dale) Renslow of Andover, Beverly (Timothy) Schultze of Anoka, Gary (Cheryl) Kish of Anoka; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Herrboldt of Anoka, Julius (Tillie) Herrboldt of Elk River; sister, Laura Nemeth of Anoka; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services Monday 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 4th Ave & Adams St., Anoka. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Visitation 4-7 PM Sunday (TODAY) at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W.
