Olson Eunice H., age 82, of Bloomington, MN, died Monday, October 21, 2002. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Bennie. Survived by her son, Schuyler; daughter, Saundra (Nate) Cobb; grandchildren, Jeff (Karen) Cobb, Renton, WA, Dayna (Tim) Cobb-Kannmacher, Mankato, MN, Karina (Paul) Peterson, Stillwater, MN, Josh Cobb, Mpls., and Kirsten and Ethan Olson, Chesterton, IN; great-grandchildren, Tanner and MacKenzie Cobb, Renton, WA and Elijah and Baylea Kannmacher, Mankato, MN; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Annie; and her sister, Alta. Throughout her life she nurtured us all with her whimsical humor, youthful spirit and unparalleled goulash! In retirement she and Bennie ventured around the world but her Norwegian heart never left her ``Appleton'' near the farm on which she was raised. She was especially touched by the friendship and love of her surviving sisters-in-law and their families, Mildred Herfurt, London, England and Jean (Dewey) Hallberg, Bloomington; and her niece, Angela (Bob) Hanek of Montgomery. Warmest thanks to the entire staff of the N.C. Little Hospice, Edina for the extraordinary care, compassion and friendship towards Eunice, her family and her friends. Also, a sincere thank you to Dr. Martin Lee and the hospice staff of Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, MN. In lieu of flowers and a memorial service, a memoriam/charitable donation to N.C. Little Memorial Hospice, 7019 Lynmar Lane, Edina, MN 55437, or the American Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated.
