Merle Bernard Lyons

Lyons Merle Bernard, age 78, of Lilydale. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sara; daughters & son-in-law, Abby Sue & fiance Ron, Beth & Ed; sons & daughters-in-law, Stephen & Patti, Bruce & Randee, Harlan & Kathy; brother, Gary; sisters & brothers-in-law, Shirley & Miles, Renee & Irv; grandchildren, Jason, Conrad, Nicole, Scott, Allison, Joee, Victoria, Michael, Sarita, Jeremy, Joshua, Michael and Jenny; many other family, nieces, nephews and friends. Merle was a devoted family man. He loved and adored his children, his grandchildren and especially his wife. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was the president and owner of Merle's Construction Co. for 46 years, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Funeral services FRIDAY (TODAY), 1 PM, TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 S. Mississippi River Blvd. Memorials may be made to Temple of Aaron Babysitting Fund. SHIVA, 1013 Sibley Memorial Hwy, Lilydale, Community Room (Sat., 7 pm & Sun., 7:30 pm). Arr. with Hodroff & Sons.
