Frances Shelley Woldford

Woldford Mrs. Frances Shelley, age 95, died October 15, 2002 in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Born on April 4, 1907, in Mpls., MN, Mrs. Wolford worked as a nurse for the U.S. Public Health Service. She served in the military and was a member of the U.S. Public Health Service Officers Association; the American Nurses Association; and was a member of Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Mrs. Woldford moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1988 from Arlington, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Wolford and is survived by her niece, B. Susan Kostka of Plymouth, MN. Following cremation, her ashes will be interred in Lakwood Cemetery, Mpls., MN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vicar's Landing Scholarship Fund, 1000 Vicar's Landing Way, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082 or Palms Presbyterian Church, 3410 So. 3rd St., Jacksonville Beach FL, 32550.
