Ford Donald M., age 61, of Fairmont, MN. Private memorial service will be 9:30 AM Fri. at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Don died Mon. evening, Oct. 7, 2002 at the Fairmont Medical Center-Mayo Health System. Public visitation will be from 4-8 PM Thurs. at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Ford of Fairmont, MN; 1 daughter, Jennifer Fellersen & her husband Scott of Fairmont, MN; 2 sons, Joel Ford & his wife LeAnn, Mark Ford & his wife Stacy, all of Farmington, MN; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Corey & Makayla; father, Marvin Ford & his wife Ardis of Des Moines, IA; 3 step-children, Michael Craven & his wife Kim of Coon Rapids, MN, Kenneth Lawrence of Austin, MN, Chantal Thate & her husband Joe of Fairmont, MN; 4 step-grandchildren, Josh Fellersen & his wife Hannah of Rochester, MN and Kari of Austin, and Tyler & Jackson of Fairmont; 2 sisters, Pat Nasalroad & her husband Jerry, Vicki Hansen & her husband Dwight, all of Fairmont, MN; brother-in-law, Ron Fritz & his wife Pat of Fairmont, MN; sister-in-law, Sandra Fritz of New Ulm, MN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve Brekke on Sept. 4, 2002. Memorials are preferred to the Fairmont Area Hospice.
