Julia N. Wyatt

Wyatt Julia Nora Ackley Adams Wyatt, age 101, Oct. 7, 2002, in Long Beach, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Wyatt; son-in-law, Jack Heath; daughter-in-law, Dawn Adams; and grandson, Jeremy Fliegner. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Heath of Long Beach, CA; son, Irving Adams of Burnsville, MN; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Born in Marble Rock, IA, Julia graduated from Iowa State Teachers College and taught in a one-room schoolhouse, and worked as an early night telephone operator. She served as an election judge for the Oak Knoll area of Minnetonka for several decades. Known as ``The Cookie Lady,'' Julie baked more than a million cookies for her church and as a volunteer in her community. She was a member of Minnetonka Community Church for over 40 years. A viewing is planned Friday, Oct. 11, from 12-1 PM, followed by the funeral at the funeral chapel. Interment will be at Groveland Cemetery in Minnetonka at 3 PM.
