Gene O. Hartley

Hartley Gene O., 83, died Sunday, June 23, 2002 at his home in San Marcos, California. Born Oct. 18, 1918, he lived in St. Paul for 55 years and in San Marcos for 28 years. Gene is survived by his wife, Jackie; daughters, Marion ``Doc'' Hartley, Karen Kendrick, Bonnie Lindskoog, Wendy Hartley Baxter and Melanie Hartley, all from the Twin Cities; stepchildren, Victor McCann, Laurie McCauley, Cheryl Armstead, all in the San Marcos area, and Debbie McCann of Columbia, Maryland; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held in San Marcos on June 28th. A memorial visitation will be held at Como Park Lutheran Church at Hoyt & Hamline Ave, St. Paul on Thur Oct 17 from 3-7 pm.
