Olga Heng

Heng Olga, 95, Sunnyside Nursing Home, Lake Park, MN, died on Sat., Oct. 5, 2002 in the nursing home. Olga was born on May 8, 1907 in Lysysundet, Norway to Jens & Nelija (Graning) Jensen. She grew up and attended school there. Olga came to the United States in 1929 and made her home in Minneapolis, MN, where she worked for Deaconess Hospital for most of her life. She married Knute Heng in 1933. She attended Memorial Lutheran and St. Paul's Lutheran Churches in Minneapolis. She moved to Lake Park, MN in 2000. Olga is survived by her husband, Knute Heng, Lake Park, MN; 1 son, Rolf Heng, (Evangeline) Heng, Rollag, MN; 1 daughter, Nancy (Glen) Adams, St. Albert, Alberta, Canada; 2 sisters, Walberg Lien, Trondheim, Norway & Ida Andersen, Brekstad, Norway; 7 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Tues., Oct. 8, 2002, 11:00 AM in Maranatha Free Lutheran Church, Glyndon, MN with visitation one hour before the service in the church. Interment Dawn Valley Memorial Park, Bloomington, MN.
