Werner Richard John, of North Oaks, MN and Punta Gorda, FL. Born January 20, 1916 in St. Paul, MN and died peacefully October 2, 2002. Survived by loving wife of 62 years Faerie Crosby Werner and children, Jay (Suelin) Werner, Philip (Linda) Werner, Jeanine (Kurt) Johnson, Pamela (Robert) Senkler, and Cynthia Werner; grandchildren, William (Barbara) Werner; Linnette Werner (Jason Brelsford), Teresa and Robert Werner, Kristen Johnson, Christopher and Richard Senkler; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Alexandra Werner, Nathaniel Brelsford; sister, Bonnie Mae Johnson; brothers & sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Reinhold Peterzon Werner and Lillie Hallberg Werner, and brother, Reinhold O. Werner. Founder of Werner's Appliances, South St. Paul; Suburban Gas, Inc., Inver Grove Heights; several community banks; and Consolidated Storage, Inc., Wichita, KS. He was actively involved in the Lions Club of South St. Paul; United Way of St. Paul, and the Retired Executives of St. Paul (Rexman's Club). Entrepreneur, inventor, builder, a special man, and a true force in the lives of many. Enjoyed family, friends, travel, and ice cream.
