Samec Josephine M., age 94, resident of West 7th St., on October 1, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, George J.; 7 sisters and brothers. Survived by daughter, Joanne (Richard) Nielsen; son, George (Marcy); 10 grandchildren, Geo., John, Mike, Tom Samec; Bob, Tom, Dick, Jim Nielsen; Renee Engebretson, Ann Hilt; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Tracy Kiemen and Gertrude Lesch. Special thanks to Woodbury Care Center, especially Lucy. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:30 AM at ST. STANISLAUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 398 Superior St. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 PM at KESSLER & MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME, 640 West 7th Street, St. Paul (651-224-2341), with vigil at 5:30 PM. Also visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church.
